Anyone can be the difference for someone facing a mental health or substance abuse related crisis.  Most of us would know how to help if we saw someone having a heart attack- we’d start CPR or at the very least, call 911.  But too few of us would know how to respond if we saw someone in a behavioral health related crisis.  This presentation will look at ways to help someone in crisis, discuss reasons and risk factors that lead to crisis and have an understanding of the different levels of care.
